MON PETIT ACADEMY TEAM

I began my degree in Special Education, finished with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work I have done extensive training in a wide variety of areas and hold my Director’s Qualification for the State of Colorado.  During that time frame I have worked as a Preschool Teacher, Treatment Counselor and Supervisor at a Residential Treatment Facility, worked in both Denver and Jefferson County Schools in a variety of capacities, ran my own Licensed and Accredited Child Care Home and Preschool Program for eleven years while my own children were growing up, and was very involved in Child Care Associations from the neighborhood to the national level.

For several years I worked with the elderly and for the last sixteen years have also worked as a financial analyst holding several state licenses. We moved to the Conifer area in 1997 and it has become our home.   I love spending time with my family and friends, enjoying nature, writing, traveling and have a strong connection to my Norwegian heritage!
